Please ensure that each entry complies with the following rules. Failure to follow the rules may result in your entry being disqualified in the judging process.

  • Upon submission of the online entry form, entry fees are chargeable and you will be liable to pay for the entries, even in the case of disqualification, withdrawal of entries, duplicate submissions or non-endorsement by clients.
  • Online entry forms must be fully completed by 2 October 2013. Client endorsements must be completed by the nominated clients by responding to the automated email sent out to them before 7 October 2013.
  • Formats and file size of the supporting materials must be strictly adhered to.
  • You may enter the same campaign in more than one category. However, for each entry you must provide separate documentation, support materials and entry fee.
  • Except where indicated on the entry form, agency names and logos should NOT appear on your written submission or support materials.
  • Entries not in English should be accompanied by a translation.
  • All entries must be submitted for judging exactly as published, aired or implemented and may not be modified for awards entry. However, entries that are not originally in English may be translated as long as the presentation is exactly the same as the original version.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to request a full media schedule from each entrant company to verify the authenticity of the ad(s) in the event that entry is shortlisted or a winner.
  • The judges’ decisions are final and neither the organisers nor the judging panel will enter into any correspondence about them.
  • The organisers reserve the right to publish all entries wholly or in part, as case studies or for publicity purposes.
  • Entrants may specify various sensitive parts of their submission as “Not for publication” on the online form and tick the “Confidentiality request” box on the entry form, provided these restrictions are not used excessively.
  • Entries unpaid by 7 October  may be disqualified and the Organizer will retain the right to claim for unpaid entry fees.
  • In the event of a complaint against any winning or shortlisted entry, the Organisers will conduct a full investigation into each case and will request detailed documentation from all parties concerned including the complainant, the entrants and the client.
  • The Organisers will have no hesitation in withdrawing an award in cases where the complaint is upheld.
  • Once an entry is shown on the Digital Asia Festival Awards entry system as ‘finalised’, this denotes that the entry has been accepted by the system and that the entry will be processed.
  • At this point, all entry fees are due and payable to Asian Advertising Festival (Spikes Asia) Pte Ltd. Furthermore, Asian Advertising Festival (Spikes Asia) Pte Ltd. cannot accept any cancellation of entries after the system has shown that the entry is ‘finalised’ for whatever reason. Any entries withdrawn by the Festival, for example duplicates and disqualified entries are still due and payable to Asian Advertising Festival.
  • Entrants or companies who are proved to have deliberately and knowingly contravened any rules relating to eligibility may be barred from entering the Digital Asia Festival Awards for a period of time following the Awards as specified by the Organisers.
