Digital Asia Festival — Disruption decoded

Digital disruption is forcing brand and business leaders in every industry to rethink their marketing communications strategies. In Asia, the accelerating pace of technology adoption, shifting consumer behaviour and content availability has formed a virtuous cycle. Increased use of smart devices in regional markets, evolving trends in content consumption and growing access to digital media are creating a perfect storm for marketers, media owners, technology companies and consumers. Smart phones and tablets are fueling the demand for apps, videos, games and social networking.
All of this means the number of ways in which consumers experience brands is rapidly increasing. The opportunity for marketers is in understanding how to engage with increasingly connected consumers. Ultimately, the brands that will benefit in this new digital ecosystem are those that understand how to deliver the best possible experience for each platform — those that attract rather than distract, involve rather than intrude.
The newly launched Festival, incorporating the Digital Media Awards, will bring together the region’s leading digital thinkers and share new data, ideas and insights into the platforms and technologies transforming the marketing and advertising industries.
